Tui Reflection

 

REFLECTION by Sam This is my reflection about my year in Tui.

Haiku poem

     We have been learning to write Haiku poems, always have 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the next line and five in the last line, I liked to do it.

MR and Mrs Strong Story

 The things I enjoyed about making this was making Mr and Mrs Strong and saying my story out loud to the camera. The thing I liked the most was switching to pages when I mentioned it.  In a narrative story you need to have characters, setting, problem and a solution. Can you figure out what my problem was?

 

This is my family, Gillie is my mums name, she has blond hair, Tom is my dads name, he has brown hair like me, Josh is my brothers name,he has blond hair and Tui is our dogs name she is a black lab.

This is me with the finished daffodil that Mum and I made the day before daffodil day. 

 

 Math Scavenger Hunt

I went looking around my house for all the items on the list, and took a photo of all the 32 items first.

We found, 2 pencils and a blue pen, 5 blocks and 2 coins, 4 socks and 2 stuffed animals, 8 crackers, 3 spoons, 4 books and 1 orange colouring pencil.

Then we took away 3 blocks and I ate 4 crackers.  So I had 26 items left.

    This is my lego there is a police truck, a police car, a police halicoptor, a bad guy viralce that can do anything and a racing car they all go very fast

 One boy and three girls 

There was once a boy named Sam and he lived with a girl named Elizabeth. We lived together peacefully until lions, tigers and cheetahs came to our house. So we ran for our lives and then we noticed a girl called Zoe, she was lost and lying in a cave.

               

We became friends and ran back to our house and Zoe said “what will we do?“ Sam said “I have an idea!“ Zoe and Elizabeth said “What is your idea?“, and Sam said  “we will talk to the lions, tigers and the cheetahs and we will become friends“. That's what we did and we became friends.

              

The next day we went to a river that had fresh water in it and we started digging a creek so the lion’s, tigers and cheetahs could drink everyday.

We started being able to ride on them. 

                

Then vampires came, and the lions, tigers and cheetahs couldn't fight them enough until they would go away.  

Sam said “ when I say run, we will run “ Sam yelled RUN!.  We ran and found ourselves in a jungle where we found some clouded leopards. 

             

We started to explore the jungle with the clouded leopards and we decided to stay, because it was so beautiful.

Then we found a girl called Isla, in a tree swinging like a monkey. We brought her to our new home in the jungle and we all lived happily ever after. 

        

Statistic Investigation

I found making the bar graph easy because Google Sheet helped me make it. I found putting the bar graph into a new post tricky.

First Animation

We were learning how to make an animation. I found this easy because all I had to do was make a character even though Ctrl d was new for me. We had to find a background and move our character around. Next time I will make it better and more improved by putting in more speech bubbles.

Blog Introduction

We are learning how to write and post a blog introduction.  This is my writing.        

My name is Sam. I like Reading. The thing I like doing the most is maths. My friends' names are Elizabeth, Zoe, Harmony, Mateus, Isla, Olly, Lucas, Austin, Caden and Aahil. I like going to the park because there are lots of things to do. My pets' names are Pepper and Tui. My class name is Tui. I like to play at home with my pets. I like to play at home at my Ninja Warrior Course because it has monkey bars, a wall to climb up, a balance beam made out of wood and two bars that you have to climb across. I am 7  years old. I like school because I get to learn more. Sometimes I call my dog Tutu.  She is a black dog who always wags her tail and she tries to eat Pepper’s biscuits. Tui is a labrador. Sometimes I call my cat Pepps . She looks like a possum, she has the fluffiest tail ever. I was born at Greymouth hospital. My favorite sport is running because I am very fast.  

Art Term 1

This is my art. The colours  I used were green, purple, yellow, red, orange and blue. It was very fun we had to glue sentences about what we like to do. My teacher took this photo.
